Drink of the summer: this Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. Homemade strawberry cream, made with fresh summer berries and a touch of vanilla, is swirled with matcha tea, served over ice. While I’m not normally a matcha drinker, I am really excited to share this recipe! It’s ever so perfectly sweet, creamy, and is so pretty!
Strawberry Cream
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 scoop Nuzest strawberry protein powder
- 1/4 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Matcha
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Make the strawberry cream: all the ingredients into a blender and blend until frothy and creamy. Set aside.
Make the matcha: add you matcha powder to a bowl and pour in the boiling water. Whisk until no clumps remain and a paste forms. Drizzle in the cold water and maple syrup (if using) and whisk until frothy.
Pour the strawberry milk over ice, then pour in the matcha. Stir to combine and enjoy!
