King Trumpet BBQ Skewers
- 1 lb king trumpet mushrooms
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup bbq sauce of choice
Turn your grill on to medium heat and brush the grill with an onion to remove any grease. Slice your king trumpet mushrooms lengthwise, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Make slits across the tops of the mushroom slices and skewer them on wooden skewers. Drizzle with olive oil and, using a branch of fresh rosemary, brush the bbq sauce on top of the mushrooms. Lay the mushroom skewers on the grill, cooking each side for about 3-5 minutes, until caramelized and golden brown. Finish the mushrooms with extra bbq sauce and enjoy!
